Mark Mester decided to let Lynette whom he calls his best friend know how much they love her on the show rather than going by the script given to him even though he shared on his social media handle that it was going to be a farewell segment for his friend and that led to his dismissal.
E! News later confirmed on Sept. 23 that Mark Mester was no longer employed by KTLA and the station decided not to comment on his dismissal or the reason behind it but most people believe it’s because he went contrary to the script given him.
