Portillo alleged in court papers that Richardson gave her a “narcotic” drink in 2004 and took pictures while he forced her to “perform oral sex” on him.

According to the lawsuit by the model, Richardson then exhibited, published, and sold photos from the incident without her consent.

Portillo claims that the photos from the assaults appeared in his exhibition “Terryworld” and art book “Kibosh,” which helped make Richardson famous

Portillo’s lawsuit was filed in New York City a day before the deadline to file claims under the state’s Adult Survivors Act.

In 2017, he was blacklisted by the fashion world after multiple models accused him of sexual assault and rape.

Brands and magazines that had worked with Richardson in the past began distancing themselves from him and said they would no longer employ him. Richardson has not actively worked as a photographer since 2018.
