Marta Kostyuk was born on June 28, 2002, in Chaiky, Ukraine. In 2022, she turned 20 years old. Her father, Oleh Kostyuk, and mother, Talina Beiko, are her parents. Oleh, her father, was the technical director of the Antey Cup, a junior tennis tournament held in Kyiv. Talina, her mother, was a professional tennis player who reached a career-high WTA ranking of No. 391.

Talina also represented the Ukrainian tennis team and won a $10,000 title in Kyiv in 1994.
