An insightful review of Pete Davidson Parents: Meet Scott Davidson and Amy Waters Davidson—check out the main takeaways.

Pete and his younger sister Casey Davidson’s father was Scott Davidson. He was born in the New York City region in 1968 and eventually graduated to the level of professional firefighter.

According to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, he was also recognized for being an all-star baseball player in the Great Kills Little League at one point in his life and was also a teacher, coach, bartender, and athlete.

In 1986, he was named the MVP of the Jacques Classic All-Star High School game while playing basketball for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea High School, where he spent another four years of his basketball career.

He later graduated with a bachelor’s in history from the College of Staten Island, where he also participated in basketball. Before beginning his firefighting career in January 1994, Scott supposedly wed Amy, the mother of Pete and Casey, in 1990.

On September 11, 2001, he responded to a call regarding the second hijacked aircraft that struck the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks. He was employed with Ladder Company 118 in Brooklyn Heights, New York.

Before the Marriott World Trade Center collapsed and killed him there, he was last seen reportedly running up the stairs to help.

To commemorate and respect Scott, Pete has the fireman number (8418) of his father tattooed on his arm and has also sported a chain with the number on it.
