She also competes part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where she drives the No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro for DGM Racing, and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where she drives the No. 41 Chevrolet Silverado for Niece Motorsports. He is Chad Chastain’s older brother, another NASCAR driver.

When Chastain was twelve years old, his interest in racing was sparked by his father’s pastime and the racing of other children his age.

At the age of twelve, he began racing at his local track, Punta Gorda Speedway in Punta Gorda, Florida, in both late model and Fastruck Series competitions.

Even those races, held at venues like Citrus County Speedway, Auburndale Speedway, and DeSoto Speedway, were held on a shoestring budget; this practice would continue throughout a large portion of Chastain’s career in NASCAR’s upper divisions.

In his short track career, Chastain won more than fifty feature races, including three of eight races in the 2011 World Series Of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway’s Limited Late Model division.

Chastain replaced Justin Marks in the No. 66 Turn One Racing truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series after Marks relocated to Charlotte in the middle of 2011.

His first Truck race featured live pit stops, and it was held at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis. He placed tenth in the competition.

Four additional races, which were tainted by occurrences at Bristol Motor Speedway and Kentucky Speedway thanks to connections in the watermelon growing sector, were won by Chastain.

Due to weather, the Turn One team was unable to compete at Homestead-Miami Speedway. As a result, the team purchased an RSS Racing start and park entry and competed in the entire race, placing second to last.

It was revealed in January 2013 that Chastain would represent Brad Keselowski Racing in 15 Camping World Truck Series contests.

In September, at Iowa Speedway, Chastain claimed his first Truck Series pole position for the Fan Appreciation 200. James Buescher won the race after Chastain led the most laps during the green-white-checkered finish.

Additionally, Chastain finished second to Erik Jones in the last race at Phoenix despite having led more than 60 laps.

Years later, Chastain claimed that his initial transfer to BKR was an attempt to join Team Penske, although Penske and BKR did not see the situation that way.

At the 2023 Daytona 500, Chastain placed eighth to kick off the 2023 season. He was accosted by Noah Gragson shortly after finishing fifth at Kansas following a racing incident in which Gragson crashed the outside wall. Chastain responded with a hit to the face after Gragson assaulted her.
