Farid Kamil is a Malaysian actor and director born on May 5, 1981, in Alor Setar, Kedah.

He was raised by his parents, Datuk Dr Zahari Che Dan and Datin Sharifah Bardah Syed Abdillah, and his two siblings, Fadzil Zahari and Nurdianah Zahari.
