In 1965, Silvio Berlusconi tied the knot with Carla Elvira Dall’Oglio, and together they had two children: Maria Elvira, who is more commonly known as Marina (born 1966), and Pier Silvio (born 1969). However, the marriage between Berlusconi and Carla ended in divorce in 1985.

In the same year, Berlusconi entered into a relationship with actress Veronica Lario (born Miriam Bartolini), with whom he had three children: Barbara (born 1984), Eleonora (born 1986), and Luigi (born 1988). Berlusconi and Lario eventually married in 1990, and their wedding became a significant social event, with notable figures such as Bettino Craxi, a former prime minister and leader of the Italian Socialist Party, serving as one of Berlusconi’s best men.

In May 2009, Lario publicly announced her intention to file for divorce, and the couple’s marriage officially ended. The divorce settlement, which was filed on Christmas Day in 2012, ordered Berlusconi to pay his ex-wife Veronica Lario $48 million per year. However, he was allowed to retain ownership of the $100 million house they had lived in with their three children.
